Hello, we’re Avela.
Here to help you face cancer with clarity.
Cancer brings a long list of questions, and not all of them fit into a single appointment. Even when you trust your care team, it's natural to want a better understanding of what's happening, what to ask next, and what options are available to you.
That space between good care and feeling fully informed is exactly why Avela exists.
ABOUT US
Our Story
It started here. Too often, patients navigating cancer are left waiting. Waiting for referrals. Waiting for answers. Waiting to speak with someone who truly understands their situation. The system is full of talented, dedicated physicians, but it wasn't built to slow down, explain itself, or make expert guidance easy to reach.
This gap needed to be filled.
So we set out to build something more deliberate—a space where time is protected, questions are welcomed, and expertise is accessible without friction. Avela was created to bring clarity at moments that feel uncertain, and to offer patients and families a direct line to thoughtful, experienced guidance. Not to replace existing care, but to strengthen it—by helping people understand their options, move forward with confidence, and feel supported at every step of the process.

Clarity is its own form of care. Patients deserve access to it without fighting through delays, barriers, and a system not designed with them in mind.

Founder and CEO of Avela
Meet

is a board-certified radiation oncologist, with years spent caring for cancer patients and watching the same pattern emerge. Patients who were medically well supported but still lost. Still confused. Still carrying the weight of decisions they didn’t feel equipped to make. He believed clarity was its own form of care. And that patients deserved access to it without fighting through delays, barriers, and a system not designed with them in mind.
A way to bring thoughtful expertise closer to the people who need it most, without unnecessary complexity. The goal was simple but essential to make understanding one’s care less overwhelming, and to ensure that no patient has to navigate critical decisions without the clarity and support they deserve.
