Everyone  Deserves
someone in their corner.

You're likely navigating reports written in clinical language, records spread across providers, appointments that move quickly, and decisions that feel rushed. It doesn't have to feel this way.

Avela is completely independent.            We're not affiliated with any hospital system, insurance network, or referral program. We review your case, explain what your results mean, and answer your questions with honesty and no agenda.

Attentive Focus

Book directly on our website at a time that works for you. You can also begin with a free introductory call if you'd like to talk through your situation before committing to a service.

Step 2

Share your records

Upload your records through our secure system. If your records are already available electronically, we can typically schedule your visit within 72 hours. If records need to be gathered from outside providers, we coordinate that directly with your care team.

Step 3

Meet with your clinician

You'll have a video visit with your dedicated physician or nurse practitioner, who will have reviewed your full case beforehand.

Step 4

Receive your written report

Following your visit, you'll receive a clear, written summary of findings and guidance you can reference and share with your care team. Membership patients receive ongoing support.

Your cancer questions can't.

What does Avela do?
Avela provides independent oncology guidance through expert review of your records, imaging, pathology, and current recommendations, so you can better understand your diagnosis, staging, options, and next steps. Your treating oncologist continues to manage treatment locally.
How does Avela work?
You begin by registering and securely sharing your medical records. Our team organizes your case for review and prepares a written analysis. You then meet with us for a 45 to 60 minute virtual consultation to discuss findings and recommendations.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Avela uses secure, HIPAA-compliant systems to store and manage patient information. Your medical records and personal data are protected using industry-standard security practices.
How long does the process take?
Once we receive your medical records, most cases can be reviewed within a few days and recommendations are typically delivered within days. The biggest factor is how quickly records and imaging can be collected and shared.
Is Avela available everywhere in the U.S.?
Avela is currently available in Virginia, with plans to expand to additional states.

Not sure where to start?
That's what the first call is for.

Schedule a free introductory call to talk through your situation with a care team member. We’ll answer questions about our services and help you find the right starting point. This call is not a medical consultation, but it's a good first step toward getting one.
